About Us
A wine professional for more than twenty-nine years, Tom Kampschroeder -- along with his wife, Linda, --
has realized a longtime dream in opening Salt Creek Wine Bar. With their four children now graduated
from college and gainfully employed, Tom and Linda felt the time was right to "go for it."

Personally greeting their customers, they make the bar a friendly, unintimidating place to explore the
world of wines. In addition to wine tastings -- where wine professionals from distributors, suppliers, or
wineries are brought in -- Tom's extensive knowledge of wines, and the wine business, is at the constant
disposal of their customers.

At the helm in the kitchen, Linda has come full circle, having majored in Home Economics, and minored
in Art, in college. The menu is a never-ending work in progress. Many of the dishes are Salt Creek's own
"signature" creations.

A word from Linda from December 2011, after Tom's untimely death:
We are keeping Tom's dream alive! Everyone's favorite wine bar will remain open. Fine wine & spirits.
Great food. Excellent live music. Lots of fun.

We need you to help the dream live on. Come on in - ready to party! Let's celebrate good times together
with friends & family. Tom liked to have fun. It's one of the reasons I fell in love with him so many years
ago. So come on in. And make some more happy memories for yourself.

Art Work Display
Tom & Linda welcome artists to submit their work for approval to display on the walls. For a period of
eight weeks our walls are devoted to the work of a featured artist(s). This period we're featuring the
artwork of Kyle Wood. Meet the artist at his
Art Opening Reception on January 14th. Complimentary
hors d'oeuvres - 5pm to 7pm.
On a related topic: Our wine bar logo, designed by local artist, Nancy Thyfault, incorporates the actual
course of Salt Creek. The wine glass in the logo is placed approximately where we are located in relationship
to the creek's course. The Tuscany mural in the wine bar was also painted by Nancy.
